Last Hospital Day

Genelle is doing really well now, and we are planning to head home from the hospital on Monday morning. She was having a little difficulty adjusting to the change in pain medicine, and was suffering from some pretty tough nausea, but is feeling much better now, and is anxious to get home to see the other babies (Kaeto, Gus and Gizmo- Our dog and cats).

Avery had a productive day as well. Today she finally learned how to use a "Binky" (pacifier). This was a much needed break for Genelle's nipples- breastfeeding has been tough on momma- blisters! My hat is off to all of you women who have, or will, breastfed!

Finally, I want to comment on our experience at Providence. I am a vehemently anti-hospital type person, but our stay here has been absolutely wonderful. With the exception of 1 woman doctor, EVERYONE here has been gracious, helpful, eager to teach us tips and tricks, and basically just treated us like we were a member of their own family. If any of them read this blog, Genelle and I offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks to you- you were a blessing!
